a bit about me:
I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Parthenope University of Naples, Department of Science and Technology. My research focuses on Classical Cepheids, pulsating stars which act as beacons for understanding the obscured regions in our own Galaxy and in farther galaxies. I am passionate about Cepheids because they allow me to explore many interesting scientific topics, from Galactic Astronomy to Cosmology. Give a look to my projects to have a taste of the topics I am most involved with!

I'll take part to the (Virtual) Europlanet Science Congress 2020 in October! More info here:
The latest paper I contributed to is now published on Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko's dust activity from pre- to post-perihelion as detected by Rosetta/GIADA. I had a lot of fun exploring the dusty fingerprints of a Comet
My currently most exciting project is working with Machine Learning to search for transits and pulsating stars in time-domani all-sky surveys.
